Introduction: Adolescent girls often experience health problems, including anemia, primarily due to growth spurts, menstruation, and an unbalanced diet. This can impact physical and cognitive development, as well as reproductive health in the future. Lack of knowledge is one of the causes of high anemia rates. One preventative measure is providing education using engaging and easy-to-understand short films for adolescents. Purpose: This study aims to determine the effect of health education using short films on female adolescents at SMP Negeri 3 Majene. Method: This study used a quasi-experimental design with a one-group pretest-posttest approach on 98 participants selected using proportional stratified random sampling. Data were collected through a validated knowledge questionnaire before and after the intervention. The intervention consisted of a 4-minute, 53-second short film. Results: Based on the results of the Marginal Homogeneity test, there was a significant difference between knowledge before and after being given health education using short film media, with a P value of 0.000. Conclusion : There is an influence of health education using short film media on knowledge about anemia in respondents after being given the intervention.
